things I lost is a mixed-media work on French paper by CALMA. Rows of brightly colored circular forms recall childhood marbles, with overlapping green, yellow, red, blue, and pink marks against a dark ground.

This is part of a series I drew and eventually painted.

I think about my childhood and how I never remember my parents buying marbles but somehow my siblings and I always had some in our toy drawer.
